Sally Swenson Obituary
Sally J. Swenson of Neenah went to be with her Lord on February 15, 2017, with her husband, Michael John of 50 years, by her side.
She was born on May 28, 1945 in Wausau to the late Clarence and Claricy (Guerin) Wendler. Sally was a graduate of Wittenberg High School. On September 10, 1966 she married her high school sweetheart, John Michael Swenson.
Survivors include her husband Mike; daughter, Lyn (Mike) Arft, Appleton; sons: John (Sara) Swenson, Menasha; Jim (Stacy) Swenson, St. Germain; five grandchildren: Chris (Sara) Ertl; Brandon (Katy) Ertl; Kayla (Brad Springer) Arft; Justin and Emma Swenson; three great-granddaughters: Avery, Cora, and Addison Ertl; six siblings: Viola Konkel; Lucille Bricco; Evelyn Verkuilen; Roger (Mary Jane) Wendler; Deanna Elmer; Merry (Roger) Voigt; one sister-in-law, Mary Chris (Tom) Stoltenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Wendy Sue; a sister, Ardell Uttecht; a brother, Clarence Wendler; and several brothers-in-law.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, February 20, 2017, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1228 South Park Ave, Neenah, with Pastor Ricky Schroeder officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for Peace Lutheran Church and Park View Health Center.
A very special thank you to Park View Health Center staff and residents for the care and compassion shown to Sally in the eleven years she has been there.

Our sympathy to Sally's family and friends.We truly valued her time with us at Trinity Menasha as she served her Lord in various servant roles. She was a blessing to be with. It is unfortunate that we cannot be there to say good bye or comfort your family as we are traveling but be sure that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
