Sharon Satathite Obituary

Sharon Leah Berro Satathite, 70, of Menasha, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Cherry Meadows Hospice after a three year battle with cancer.

Sharon was born on March 29, 1941, to the late Harold and Mabel (Palmer) Berro. She was a graduate of Menasha High School, Class of 1959, and was the prom queen in her junior year with James Jurek, father of her children.

Sharon is survived by and will be greatly missed by her three children: Jeffrey (Kara) Jurek, Appleton, Justine (Terry) Armstrong, Appleton, and Scott Jurek (special friend, Tricia), Menasha; eight grandchildren: Jason and Justin Jurek, Samantha, T.J., Tyler and Thomas Armstrong, and Stephani and Brittani Jurek; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Parker; two sisters, Elizabeth Derus, Menasha, and Sandra (Neil) Christopherson, Eugene, OR; her special friend, Gregg Eggert, Menasha; and she is further survived by nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service for Sharon will be Friday, November 25, 2011, 12:00 p.m., at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home, with Chaplain Jordan Kurzwara officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Sharon's final resting place will be in Resthaven Cemetery, Menasha.

The family would like to thank the staffs at Martha Siekman Cancer Center and Cherry Meadows Hospice for the love and care they showed Sharon.

Those who knew Sharon knew that her children and grandchildren were the love of her life. But she also had another love and that was for animals-so in lieu of flowers a memorial will be established and given to a No Kill animal shelter in her honor.

"Mom, you are forever in our hearts."
