Steven Clark Obituary

Steven A. Clark, age 63, of Neenah, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 with his family by his side at ThedaCare Hospice Residence after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Steve was born on July 19, 1948 in Woodstock, Illinois, the son of Gordon and Edna (Broderman) Clark. He was united in marriage to Nancy L. Bruns on September 25, 1971 in Woodstock. Steve was a patient, kind, and generous man who had a true passion for dairy farming and agriculture. He enjoyed antique farm equipment, doing crossword puzzles, and time spent with his loving family. His quick wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by Nancy Clark, his beloved wife of 40 years; his sons and daughters-in-law: Tim (Marny) Clark, Freedom, Dan (Cory) Clark, Oshkosh; six grandchildren: MaKaelyn, Mason, Will, Noah, Gracie, Ashley; his mother, Edna Clark, Woodstock; two sisters: Cindy Clark, Chicago, Deb (Don) Chapman, Ingleside, IL; mother-in-law, Clara Bruns, Woodstock; sister-in-law, Linda (Henry) DeYoung, Woodstock; brother-in-law, Jeff (Melody) Bruns, Wonder Lake, IL; nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon; and his father-in-law, Harold Bruns.

The Memorial Service for Steve will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Hetrick officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.

To the entire Clark family,

My deepest sympathies to you all. Losing Steve was like losing an extended family member. I've known him and his family my entire life. I used to babysit his boys when they were young and was so sad when he and his family moved away from Clark's Corners to start a new life up north so many years ago. I will remember him most for his kind nature and his laughter that always filled the room. The world has lost a very good man, but heaven has gained a very special angel.
