Thomas Kettleson Obituary
Waupaca - Thomas "Tommy" T. Kettleson, Jr., age 49, of Waupaca, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018, with family at his side. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 6, 1968 to Thomas and Eileen (Manney) Kettleson, Sr. On April 9, 1996, he was united in marriage to Joni Johnson and they were blessed with two daughters, Alli and Kati. He loved to watch his girls play softball and also enjoyed watching the Brewers. His favorite hobby was fishing - on the water, on the ice or off the dock, and he also enjoyed golfing with his friends. Tommy was often tinkering in his garage or always coming up with some project. He will be dearly missed, as he was the best dad a girl could ask for, as well as a remarkable husband.
He sadly leaves behind his wife, Joni and girls, Alli and Kati, all of Waupaca; his parents, Thomas and Eileen Kettleson, Sr. of Ogdensburg; siblings: Laura (Jeff) Verga of Hortonville, Dawn (Mark) Larsen of MN, TJ (Christie) Kettleson of Manawa, and Dean (Tina) Kettleson of Milwaukee; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Linda Johnson of Iola and brother-in-law, Kevin (Wendy) Johnson of Iola. Tommy is also survived by nieces and nephews: Kimberly, Alexus, Brady, Trevor, Spencer, Rylee, Brennan, Vincent, Connor, Abby, Kylie and Kendall; great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Scandinavia Lutheran Church, with Pastor Mark Sabin officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, August 31 from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home and again on Saturday, at the church, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at ThedaCare Medical Center - Appleton ICU for their kindness and compassion.
