Codi Couch Edwards, 28, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

She was born Oct. 9, 1987, to Michael Couch and Wendy Watson in Idaho Falls. She attended school in Rigby, Idaho; Idaho Falls; and Dillon, Mont.

There are no words to truly describe the dynamic and beautiful woman Codi was in life. She brought light into every life that she touched and always went out of her way to help and support her family and friends. Codi was quick to laugh and had an incredible sense of humor. Her adventurous nature lead her to the mountains, where she enjoyed long drives, photography, fishing and camping with her family and friends. Above all, she was a loving and devoted mother, sister and daughter. She was immensely giving and warm.

Her family would like everyone to know that her death was accidental; she would never intentionally hurt herself; she would never abandon her children. To say that she will be deeply missed, falls short of the impact her life and death has on our lives.

She is survived by her mother, Wendy Watson (Donald Littleford), and father, Michael Couch (Mary Couch); husband, Erick Edwards; children, Cameren Rose Lea, Benjamin Michael Lea and Dillon James Edwards; stepchildren, Caleb Michael Edwards, Aleigh LaRae Edwards and Hannah June Edwards; brothers, Nathaniel Cromwell and Gene Sara; sisters, Jessica Sharp, Aubrey Cromwell and Kristi Olsen; paternal grandmother, Judy Jones Hegsted (Glenn Hegsted), and paternal grandfather, Howard Keith Couch (Karen Couch); and by many loving nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty Bowles, Dean Bowles and Dale Watson; aunt, Karen Forbush; and brother, Cheyenne Sara.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th St., Idaho Falls. Burial will follow in Ammon Cemetery, Sunnyside Road, Bonneville County, Idaho. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. prior to Saturday's service at the funeral home.

We had some fun times lady... I'm so glad I had the pleasure of meeting u so long ago at pinecrest. I will truly miss u and the laughs we shared. And the funniest was trying to leave after closing and trying to get to Shelly to buy boos before the gas station closed... and running my car up on the middle of the center island and ruining my tire... needless to say there were no boos but we sure laughed all night trying to fix it. I love u babe. Rest that pretty little head. Xoxo
