Delia Jacobsen Adams, 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 24, 2010, at her home.
She was born Oct. 30, 1917, in Bloomington, Idaho, to Andrew Moroni Jacobsen and Mary Alice Thompson Jacobsen. The family moved to Rigby where she attended schools and graduated from Rigby High School.
On Nov. 20, 1943, she married Wayne L. Adams in Preston, Idaho. She was a mother and homemaker and also worked at Bon Marche, Blocks and Gretels.
Delia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Dee (Harry) Surkalo of Golden, Colo.; son, Dennis W. Adams of Idaho Falls; daughter, Nancy (Randy) Dixon of Idaho Falls; grandson, Shon W. Dixon of Idaho Falls; brothers, Lee Jacobsen, Roy (Lorraine) Jacobsen and Jerry Jacobsen, all of Idaho Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls.

Nancy, fred and i wanted to tell you that we are very sorry about the loss of your mom. We didn't know her but she must of been a very strong and special lady from what you told us about her.
