Yeah, Good old Gary and his heart came and took him down. Such irony, being that he had a lot of heart and especially when he got passionate about something. He was a good man and wouldn't want anyone to praise him unless they felt genuinely inclined to do so. I am a lucky stalwart person because of what he taught me and to you Gary Barker I will carry the fire. I love you and Thank You for the fine example you were for me. You honest, decent father with your grumpy ways.

Gary, our family tree is a little less colorful with your passing. Have Uncle Bob play a song on his harmonica for me and give Aunt Sybil a big hug and tell her just how much I miss stopping by to visit with her when I go to OKC. Tell my dad hi for me and that we love and miss him. Test in Peace Until we meet again.

I am so sad to hear of Gary's passing. For the rest of my life when I spend time enjoying the lovely greenhouse he built for me, I will recall with a smile all the interesting and funny conversations we had. Gary was indeed witty and charming, such a pleasure to work and spend time with. I will miss his presence in the world.
