To the family of Jacqueline Mason:
My deepest condolences to all for your great loss. I became acquainted with her while she was working as a very capable guidance counselor at Uintah High School in Vernal, UT.
I was also living in that area as a single mother-my three boys were away and also my only daughter on an L.D.S mission. I asked Jacque to move in with me temporarily to keep me company- until one of them could come home again. She did this even though it was a great sacrifice for her - out of the goodness of her heart and due to her sweet spirit. I will always be indebted to her for her selfless service to me!
I want to express my deep gratitude and love for her and that I all forever keep her in my heart. Among her great qualities I will remember her for her bright intelligence and creativity; her great courage and determination to move forward in the mist of her trials; and her great love and devotion for her children and grandchildren. I regret deeply I was unable to be at her funeral service. I have tried for the last few years to get in touch with her to no avail. I hope and would appreciate very much if any of her children would contact me to let me know a bit of her life after we lost contact. With fond memories and love for my great friend, Jacque, Nora R. Brown ( formerly Gordon)

Jacque was my guidance counselor at Uintah High. She was also mom to my dear friend, Michelle. I still remember some of her wise quotes to this day.
To her children- I'm on Facebook.
