Jay Ferguson Obituary
Jay F. Ferguson "Fergi", 61, of Caldwell, Idaho, passed away at home Friday, Aug. 25, 2017. Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 20, at Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
He was born June 2, 1956, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Gerald and Helen Ferguson.
On Oct. 2, 1982, he married to Julie Holverson Ferguson. They were blessed with four sons, Ryan (Nicole) Ferguson, Corey (Wendy) Ferguson, Jesse (Courtney) Ferguson and Jason Ferguson, and a daughter, Jenna (Brennan) Littlefield. Jay and Julie were later divorced in 1998.
He married Sally Lott, and they were divorced.
Jay later married LeAnn Scott Creedy. She had one son, Adam (Ashley) Creedy, and daughter, Mandy Sheeter. LeAnn had two nieces, Ashley and Tori Scott, whom she helped raise after their father, Berry Scott, passed away. Jay was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sealed to his wife, LeAnn, in the Boise Temple.
He is survived by his wife, LeAnn Scott Creedy Ferguson; parents, Gerald (Helen) Ferguson; sister, Debbie (Rod) Wagner; all of his children who were special to Jay; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry (1955-2016), Jim (1957-1979), Dan (1959-2017) and John Ferguson (1964-1987), and grandparents, James Ray and Verla Heyrend Ferguson and Ernie LeRoy and Carrie Ella Knudsen Depue.
Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 30, at Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
