Roy, thank you for hiring me for two summers in high school to work on the farm. I very highly respect your family for your high morals and honest hard work ethic. I have wonderful memories working with you, Bart, Matt, Allen, and Allen’s little brother, and the rest of the fam. The days were long but the company was the best. And Joan was wonderful. I remember her bright smile and genuine interest whenever she talked with me. I also remember her powerful testimony of the Savior and righteous example of service. I wish I could thank her again for that and also for the countless times she fed me delicious food. I feel truly blessed to know her and I pray comfort for your family until we see her again. God be with you guys.

My name is Connie Cameron Hancock. I knew Joan when she started coming to St.Anthony to attend South Fremont High School. I loved the obituary picture. It looked so much like the Joan I knew.
She as always was so kind to everyone and had that sweet smile.

I Have always admired Joan. I have known her all my life as I grew up in Kilgore with her. I have always enjoyed seeing and talking with her. I tended her older children when we lived in Kilgore when they lived there. We were in the Lewisville Ward when Frank was growing up. We dearly love his family. May the Lord bless your family at this time. I love you all, even though I don't know some of you as well as I would like to. Blessings of comfort to all of you.
