Kelli Ann (Lake) Larsen, 28, of Idaho Falls, died July 10, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of cardiac arrest.
Kelli was born July 13, 1980, to Dall Ray Lake and Linda Rae Humpherys Lake. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attend-ed Theresa Bunker Elementary, Clair E. Gale Junior High School and Idaho Falls High School.
On July 18, 1998, she married Brett J. Larsen in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 18, 2001. Together they had three kids, Savannah, Brianna and Jamin. Kelli and Brett were involved in the Scouting program.
Kelli was a mother and a homemaker. In the past she had worked at Dairy Queen and Dillards. She was most recently working at Lolo's Daycare in Rigby. She enjoyed painting, crafts and scrapbooking. She especially loved spending time with her children and her family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Wilma Humpherys, Lavell Lake and Lenabell Fox and her mother-in-law, Lola Larsen.
Survivors include her husband, Brett J. Larsen of Rigby; children, Savannah Kay Larsen, Brianna Kay Larsen and Jamin Raye Larsen, all of Rigby; parents, Dall Ray and Linda Lake of Idaho Falls; siblings, Travis (Amy) Lake and Kristy Lynn Lake, both of Idaho Falls, Teresa Kay Spillers and Lynette (Sean) Kelly, both of Ririe; 15 nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank our extended families at Westmark Credit Union, the staff at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and Intensive Care Unit, Grand Teton Council, Ririe Quick Response Unit and other district members, Lolo's Daycare and many family and friends. Your thoughts were needed and felt.
A memorial fund in Kelli's name has been set up at Westmark Credit Union. Donations may be made at any of Westmark's locations.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, at the Idaho Falls LDS 11th Ward, 1235 Juniper, with Thomas Barker officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
