LeeAnn Ball, 55, of Menan, Idaho, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born March 9, 1955, in Idaho Falls, the daughter of Vernon Henry and Beulah Isaacs Martin. She spent her earlier years and attended schools in Rexburg where she graduated from high school. LeeAnn married Emer Ball on July 3, 1973, on the family farm in Menan. She worked on the family farm and drove truck for many years. LeeAnn was a member of the Mounted Posse Side Saddle Drill Team, the Lark Spurs and Show Timers. She loved to participate in draft horse shows and parades. She was a volunteer and organizer in the Madison County Fair Heritage Parade and the Horse Power Gala. LeeAnn's hobbies included Western history and collectibles, painting, taking photos, computers, arts and crafts, horse riding and horse driving and showing. Whenever LeeAnn asked for a favor, it was always to benefit someone else. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Emer Lewis Ball of Menan; two sisters, Kathy Martin (John) Chaffee of Billings, Mont., and Betty Jeanne Martin; one brother, Vernon Kent (Linda) Martin of Port Angeles, Wash.; two nieces; one nephew; one great-niece and four great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th St. in Idaho Falls, with Tad Jenkins officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services Thursday.
The family suggests donations be given to a charity of choice.

Emer, Iam so sorry to hear about Lee Ann.I have so many fond memories of her. I just wish we had kept in touch a little better. Last time I saw you guys was in 06 at my dads funeral.
