Linda Boggetti Obituary

Linda Jean Bratt Boggetti, 76, of Ashton, Idaho, passed away in Rexburg, Idaho on Tuesday September 23, 2025. She was born to Harold and Monna Howard Bratt and raised in Farnum, Idaho. Linda attended school in Ashton from kindergarten through high school. She studied at Ricks College for two years before completing a degree in Secondary Education (English and History) at Brigham Young University.

Linda worked many summers for the National Park Service in Yellowstone. After a short time teaching, she moved to the Grand Canyon to continue with the Park Service as a dispatcher. She met her husband there, and they were married in May 1980. They later returned to Ashton, where they raised two daughters. Linda worked for Fall River Rural Electric Company for 30 years. After retirement, she moved to Idaho Falls to be near her grandchildren, and in her last two years lived at The Homestead in Rexburg, Idaho.

Linda enjoyed reading and had a lifelong care and concern for animals.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine (Scott) Nedrow and Erica (Jacob) Kolasch, and three grandchildren, Logan, Aeryn, and Connor Nedrow. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Monna Bratt.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Linda's name to The Snake River Animal Shelter or another animal shelter of your choice.

A graveside service will be held at Pineview Cemetery in Ashton, Idaho, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
