Michael Gifford Obituary

Michael Kevin Gifford, 63, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully surrounded by his siblings and children on January 6, 2025, at 2:40 AM at EIRMC after a long battle with COPD.

Kevin was born on May 12, 1961, in Provo, Utah, to James Lee Gifford and Carolyn Gifford. He grew up in a large, loving family with his siblings: Brent (Deb), Shaunna Rubert (Russ), Layne (Holly), Anjeanette Anderson (Joel), Brooke Bailey (Zack), Mitchell (Becky), and Whitney (Stacie). He was preceded in death by his brother Lance, father Lee, his son Victor, and his grandchild Landon.

Kevin was a proud and devoted father to his children: Tony Gifford, Myles Gifford, Janus Montano, Sydnie Jo Gifford, Victor Lindsy, and Senica Gifford. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, all of whom he loved deeply.

Kevin faced life with resilience and strength, even in his most challenging moments. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his dedication to his family, and the love he shared with everyone around him.

A funeral service to honor Kevin's life will be held on Friday, January 10th, at 10:00 AM at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, Idaho.

Kevin's family invites all who knew and loved him to join in celebrating his life and legacy.
