Michael Allen "Mike" Barron, 65, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away July 10, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Mike was born April 13, 1952, in Kenmare, North Dakota, to Pearl Jensen Barron. He grew up and attended schools in Great Falls, Montana, where he was raised by his mother and stepfather, Leo M. Gross. He graduated from Great Falls High School in 1970. He also attended Montana State at Bozeman.
On May 5, 1979, he married Deanne Perrenoud in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born two children, Nick and Dustin. Mike and Deanne made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Mike worked for Pest Control Services. He took great pride in his work and was always loyal to his employer.
Mike enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR and woodworking. His family and grandchildren were his life.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Deanne Barron, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sons, Nick Barron and Dustin (Celeste) Barron, both of Idaho Falls, Idaho; brother, Patrick (Sheryl) Gross, of Maple Valley, Washington; stepfather, Leo M. Gross; and four grandchildren, Bryson, Asher, Reagyn and Rylee Barron
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Gross.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, with President Eric Velasquez, of Ammon Idaho East LDS Stake Presidency, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, both at Wood East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. Burial will be in Archer-Sutton Cemetery near Rexburg. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
