Nancy Patricia Huddleson Wray, 68, of Idaho Falls, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at Hospice Home. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
Nancy was born Jan. 31, 1947, in Minot, N.D., to Dale and Kathryn Huddleson. She went to McKinley Elementary School and graduated from Minot High School.
On April 10, 1971, she married Stanley R. Wray in Idaho Falls. They had one daughter, Denise. Stan passed away in 2000.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Nancy enjoyed working with the Girl Scouts of America. Not only did she work with children in grades second through ninth, she was an adult troop leader and coordinator for 10 years. Nancy also enjoyed doing volunteer work in the public schools.
She enjoyed camping, reading, puzzles, gardening and music. Her great enjoyment was with her granddaughter, Samantha, and her numerous nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise M. Wray, and her granddaughter, Samantha R. Wray, both of Idaho Falls; her two sisters, Linda (Bob) Sundberg of Minot and Allie (T.K.) Thompson of Los Alamos, N.M.; her brother, Dale P. (Kathy) Huddleson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her mother-in-law, Mary Wimber of Plano, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley R. Wray, and her parents, Dale and Kathryn Huddleson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Watersprings Church, 4250 S. 25th E., with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., and one hour prior to Saturday's services at the church. Burial will be at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Eastern Idaho, 1810 Moran St., Idaho Falls, ID 83401, or Legacy Fund c/o Watersprings Christian School, 4250 S. 25th E., Idaho Falls, ID 83401.
