Randall Westergard Obituary

Randall "Randy" Grant Westergard passed unexpectedly on June 26th 2024 at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Randy was born March 25th 1961 to Wilford J. and Louise Edith Westergard in Salt Lake City, UT, where he was raised and enjoyed Eagle Scouts and dirt biking. He graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1979.

On May 2nd 1986 he married the love of his life Shelli Ann Hirschi and together they raised 4 children Randy , Ryan, Trisha and Elise.

They decided to move to Idaho Falls , Idaho where Randy joined the City of Idaho Falls Power company as a journeyman lineman. He retired from the city in June of 2022.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, camping, hunting and most of all he loved being with his family and friends. He was loved by anyone and everyone he met. He was a very proud father and Papa to all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Shelli Ann, his son Randy J ( Crystal ) Westergard; Ryan Westergard; Trisha ( Trent) Westergard; Elise ( Nate ) Jones and 22 grand children. His Brother Russel ( Linda ) Westergard; His sister Susan ( Randy ) Nielsen ; Brother Ronald Westergard and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents Wilford J. And Louise Edith Westergard.

There will be a celebration of life for Randy on July 20th, 2024 @ 4 PM @ a family members home. Located at 4871 So. 15th W. 83402. The family will provide the main dish if you would like to bring a side and desired beverages. There will also be a last ride planed for Randy.

Randy will be missed we had a lot of good time when my children were younger camping ,fishing and spending weekends in Idaho falls with all our kids. We love you and will miss you rest in peace Dianna Barker
