Stella Jeromski

AGE: 95 • Beach Haven West

Stella Jeromski, 95, died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 while visiting her daughter in Winter Park, FL. Stella was born in Acosta, PA in 1916. After her father's death, she moved to New York City with her mother and younger sister. There she met and married Edward Jeromski. They lived in New York and Long Island for fifteen years, then moved to Whitehouse Station, NJ where they raised three daughters and owned and operated the Whitehouse Roller Rink on Route 22. Stella & Ed made Beach Haven West their permanent residence in 1970. Ed served as Stafford Township Clerk for many years. Stella was a very active member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, the Tuckerton Polish American Club, Deborah Hospital Auxiliary, and the Seniors' Social Club of Manahawkin. She also volunteered at the Old & New Shop. She loved to travel, read, cook, knit and crochet.

She is survived by her three daughters, Veronica Huber (Don) of Fort Myers, FL, Joan Ann Lee (Bill) of Winter Park, FL, Carol Ann Palmer (Butch) of Minersville, PA and five grandchildren, Sean Palmer of San Diego, CA, Kristen Braukus (Ed) of New Philadelphia, PA, Edward Lee, Veronica Lee & John Lee all of Winter Park, FL. Stella is predeceased by her parents, John & Rose Zuravnsky; her sister, Nellie Frangella and her beloved husband of 49 years.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary's Church in Barnegat, and Stella will be interned at St. Mary's Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Stella. I have known her and Ed for many years. We expect our parents to live forever....and they do in our hearts. May God rest her soul.
