December 10, 1979 - May 26, 2024
HEALDSBURG - Andrew Regan Jennings, 44, of Healdsburg, CA, passed away on May 26, 2024 after a lengthy battle with melanoma. Andrew was born December 10, 1979 in Saratoga Springs, NY. He is survived by his parents, Roger and Susan Jennings of Queensbury, NY; brother and sister-in-law Ryan and Phuket Jennings of Shelburne, VT; sister and brother-in-law Carey and Noah Wintroub of San Francisco, CA; sister and brother-in-law Erin and Tony Paruszewski of Menlo Park, CA; nieces Bennett, Dylan and Quinn Wintroub and Ava and Elle Paruszewski; nephew Asa Jennings; and partner Shoshana Kalinski of Daly City, CA.
Andrew graduated from Queensbury High School in 1998 and San Francisco State University in 2007. He held a wide variety of jobs he enjoyed, starting off in the family business and working more recently in digital advertising in the aviation industry. He moved to California 20 years ago and explored every corner of the Golden State, often with his beloved dog, Wrigley. Andrew loved running, playing softball in a San Francisco city league, and backpacking, most notably ascending Mount Whitney and Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. He made many trips to Lake George and the Hawaiian Islands, two of his favorite places. He was also a lifelong Yankees fan.
Andrew will be remembered for his signature charm, fierce independence, insatiable curiosity, and gift for connecting deeply with others. His strength and determination throughout his cancer journey are an inspiration to us all.
Celebrations of Andrew's life will be held in Healdsburg and Lake George this summer for his many friends and family members. Andrew asked that in lieu of flowers or donations, we each embrace a meditation practice and live a life of meaning, self-reflection and optimism.
