Barbara was an RN at Indian River Nursing Facility for many years. Her nursing career spanned more than 50 years.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, watching Hallmark movies, and taking care of family. Barbara was a member of the Hook & Ladder Ladies Auxiliary, a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Granville, and a member of the Catholic Daughters.

She leaves behind her daughters, Lori (Tom) Warner, Lisa McLaughlin and Nicki Hayward. Other survivors include her sister, Judy (Bill) Williams; Sister-In-Law, Clara Clark; Grandchildren, Jeremy (Juliana) Hyatt, Jennifer Warner (Jack Daley), Brian (Bakhur) Warner; Great-Grandchildren, James, Irwin, Isla, and Ainsley, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved very much.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Barb was pre-deceased by her Grandson, Jonathan Hyatt, and her sister and brother-in-law, Maryann and Bill Ziobrowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Granville, N.Y., on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Barbara will be laid to rest next to her husband at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Cemetery in the spring.
