Charlotte Potvin Obituary

Charlotte Potvin

GLEN LAKE - Charlotte Potvin, 68, of Glen Lake, Queensbury, has passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Charlotte was raised in Wappingers Falls by her grandparents. She was a lover of life and enjoyed nothing better than a good laugh.

Charlotte graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High school, then joined the Army. She later moved to Brant Lake and eventually settled in Queensbury, where she married the love her life, Mitch.

Everyday Charlotte squeezed in as much fun as possible. She especially cherished the years she was a travel hockey mom, and all the families she met.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mitch; their darling son, Connor and his wife, Christine. She also has two siblings: brother, George (Sherry) and sister, Christine. She is also survived by many loving sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, her father-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. She predeceased her sisters, Katherine and Jean.

Charlotte felt like she was the luckiest girl in the world, and was grateful for everything that she was able to do.

Charlotte's wit was unparalleled; she always had a wry comment ready faster than anyone else in the room, making her the one you wanted to sit next to in that room!

"She saw beauty everywhere and where there wasn't beauty, she created it, bringing her skilled artistic talents to watercolors, flower arrangements and fiber arts."

When she comes back in her next incarnation, she has a bucket list of things she wants to accomplish: teach under privileged children in a third world country, judge people less, and be a better dancer, to name a few.

Charlotte has given her final Irish goodbye.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte's name can be made to Breast Cancer Awareness.

Per Charlotte's wishes funeral service and calling hours will be held privately for the family. Arrangements under the care of Regan Denny Stafford Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury.
