Dec. 9, 1959 - Feb. 15, 2021
CORINTH – Donald M. Bolduc, 61, of Surrey Road, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 15, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital.
Born on Dec. 9, 1959 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Georgette and Ed Sadler of Saratoga Springs.
Don graduated from Corinth High School in 1978 and graduated from SUNY Oswego in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
He was first employed at the International Paper Co. in Corinth in the color prep department for 20 years and then worked at Slack Chemical in Saratoga Springs for 11 years.
Don was currently the owner and operator of North Country Pest Control for the past 20 years. He took delight in his business, his customers and also Andrew Shattuck and Tom Madison, who worked alongside him. When business slowed down in the winter, he looked forward to weekly lunch with his Mom.
He adored his two grandchildren and cherished his time with them. Paisley girl will miss the rides in grandpa's truck.
Don truly loved his annual trips to Aruba with his children, grandchildren and girlfriend.
He was predeceased by his very good friend, Corky Shattuck.
Survivors besides his parents, include one daughter, Brianna M. Knowlton (Cody) of Hartford; two grandchildren: Tilden and Jace; his longtime companion, Jean Quirion of Corinth; and her children: Dustin and Darren Quirion; two siblings: Norman Bolduc of Hudson Falls and Jimmie Bolduc (Paula) of Wilton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the pandemic, services are private and at the convenience of the family.
A graveside service and celebration of Don's life will be held in the spring at a later date to be announced.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials take the form of donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth.

I just learned of Don's death when I tried to contact his company--as I've done for several years in the spring. He will be much missed in the North Country. Condolences to all who knew and who loved him.

I was shocked and so very saddened just recently to learn of Don´s passing (we live in Vermont but have a VERY old log cabin in Hadley). We were customers and he was our "go to guy" every spring and fall - and sometimes in between - to assist us with a variety of wildlife that wanted to call our cabin their home. He was kind, gentle and so trustworthy - we will miss him in many ways. Our condolences and sincere sympathies to his family and close circle of friends.

Very sorry to hear of this. I used Don for several years for pest control and he did an excellent job at a fair price. He was a very nice guy. He saved my butt last summer when I had a wasp nest in the basement!
Condolences to his family.

We all worked with Don at the IP mill in Corinth and we are deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Don had unmatched enthusiasm and dedication for his work. But even more so we will remember the genuine kindness and care he showed to his fellow teammates at the mill. We can only imagine the grief his family must be experiencing now and wanted to express our deepest sympathies. We too will grieve the loss of our dear friend Don.
