My fondest memories of my Aunt Doris are visits to her farmhouse in Hartford with Grandpa Ted. She was indeed a patriotic women and as a child, I enjoyed watching the Hartford parades with her and my Uncle Willard. She was a hard worker and strong women.

I am her niece on Willard's side. I remember going there for dinner and Aunt Doris teaching us proper manners. Then we went out to see their horses.

I came to know Doris through her husband Willard. I worked at the same car dealership where Willard was a salesman. They were a very special, kind and thoughtful couple. I met Doris when she had her car in for service and I once visited their country home. My heartfelt condolences for your loss. RIP Doris.
