Ed was great, his turkey melt sandwich was so good. We would stop almost everyday back in the 90s.
Haven’t seen him years but have never forgot his food or his good service.
My prayers are with his family.

I saw Ed almost everyday when he worked at Putnam's on the corner.
He always had a smile and that man made the best turkey sandwich, that to this day I miss. Turkey, piled high with mayo, salt and pepper on soft white bread and served in a wax paper bag. Sounds simple, but I've never had another as good.
My condolences to his family.
Ed was a good man to me and all my friends in the neighborhood growing up.

My deepest sympathies for Dave and family, Frank, Bonnie and Jim with Uncle Ed's passing. Life was not always easy to navigate but Uncle Ed did his best with positivism and without complaint. Enjoyed talking sports especially baseball and having some exceptional food he would whip up at the store. May you RIP Uncle Ed.
