Gary and I started first grade together in Palmer Elementary School. When my Mom and Dad and I moved up to Oak Street (I was 10), we were all part of the Oak Street gang. Lots of hide 'n seek, Red Rover, street ball, sliding down Oak Street hill...but my favorite memory was playing four-handed pinocle with Gary and his brother and sister. Graduated in 1957! We had a great class and our 50th reunion was one of a kind. It brought most of us back together after too many years. That was the last time I saw Gary and Joyce, though it seems like only yesterday. Deepest sympathy and caring thoughts go to Joyce and their wonderful family from my husband and myself. Rest In Peace, Gary.
