George Thomas Monroe

June 23, 1962 - January 1, 2025

George Thomas Monroe (1962-2025). Tom Monroe, 62, of Kissimmee, Fl. died suddenly at home on January 1, 2025. Tom was born in Schenectady, NY on June 23, 1962 to George H. and Edith B. Monroe. He attended Schenectady Public school til his junior year then moved to Lake George where he graduated in 1980. After graduation he worked in the Lake George area at the EasT Cove and Garrison til he moved to Colorado where he met his wife of 25 years, Tamara Monroe. They live in Arizona for a while before returning to Greenfield Center, NY, working in the Saratoga area for many years. They had recently moved to Florida.

Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Monroe of Ballston Spa. He is survived by his wife, Tamara, and siblings Nancy Monroe of Cody, WY., Jim Monroe of Portland, OR. and PJ Monroe of Anchorage AK.
