MECHANICVILLE – Lisa M. Hayes, 62, of County Route 75, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Albany Medical Center with her loving husband and dear friend, Brad Ullmann by her side.
Born on November 23, 1958 in Enumclaw, WA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Lummie (Felty) Otrember.
Lisa graduated from North Mason High School in Belfair, WA, and from beauty school in Bremerton, WA.
She married David W. Hayes on Sept. 23, 1994 in Bolton Landing and the couple resided in Warrensburg for several years, before moving out west to the San Francisco Bay area for eight years. They currently were residing in Mechanicville.
She was first employed as a beautician in Bremerton before moving to Upstate New York. She then worked at Oriental Salon in Saratoga Springs and at The Inside Edge in Queensbury, before finally managing the Salon at the Sagamore Hotel for several years.
Lisa was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Warrensburg for several years.
She loved skiing, being around the water, taking care of animals, going on hikes, traveling with her husband all over the country and mostly spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by two step-fathers, Gordon Kochevar and Lane Gould; a step-brother, Lonnie Gould; her father-in-law, Milo Hayes, Sr.; and her grandfather, George Senecal.
Survivors besides her loving husband of 27 years include; one daughter, Mckenzie Hayes of Mechanicville; one sister, Vicki Mattox of Yuma, AZ; two cousins: John Kochevar of Sand Pointe, ID and Alan Kochevar of WA; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Eaton (Bryan) of Mechanicville; one sister-in-law, Wanda Hayes (Ed) of Corinth; two brothers-in-law: Milo Hayes, Jr. (Lynn) of Augusta, GA and Greg Hayes of Augusta, GA; her dear friends, Brad Ullmann (Faith) of Newton, NJ; and her godchildren: Julie Lisa Ullmann, Brendon David Ullmann and Augustine Ullmann; and a great friend, Sue Lamb.
A Celebration of Lisa's life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Fort William Henry Hotel, 48 Canada Street, Lake George.
The family wishes to thank the staff, the nurses and the doctors at Albany Medical Center for their kindness and compassionate care given to Lisa during her illness.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials take the form of a donation in Lisa's memory to your local food bank or local animal shelter.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth.

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of Lisa. She was a lovely person, and we enjoyed knowing her in Fredon with Brad and Faith. May your pain be lessoned in knowing that she is pain free, and now able to walk again with our Heavenly Father.
