Mark McGrath Obituary

GRANVILLE -- Mark E. McGrath, 45, a resident of Granville, passed away on Thursday July 12, 2007, at Glens Falls Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on Dec. 17, 1961, in Hollywood, Calif. Mark was the owner of McGrath's Welding in Granville. He was an avid Harley-Davidson fan and enjoyed taking many road trips before becoming ill. Mark was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his daughter, Trina N. McGrath of Granville; and his special friends whom he considered his second family, Alberta "Toochie" Lynch of Fort Ann, Toni Lynch of Fort Ann, Thomas Lynch of Fort Ann, Marky Bardin of Granville, Pete Smith of Yonkers, John Scroggy of Lake George, George and Laura Pasternak of Diamond Point, Jamie "Rocket" Martelle of Whitehall, Bill Dido of Fort Ann and Chuck Smith of Whitehall.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Regan Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Relatives and friends are invited and may also call on Monday from noon until the time of service at 1 p.m.

Mark's second family would ask that if you are attending the service, that you ride for Mark.

Those who wish may send a remembrance in his name to Washington County Hospice, 415 Lower Main St., Hudson Falls, NY 12839.

I met Mark at Dan and Marcey Gordans house when i was only a little girl. He was good friends with my father and my brother and I quickly took a liking to him. He was a hardcore motorcycle man who was loved by many. He will remain in my thoughts and prayers, never to be forgotten. Trina my heart goes out to you hun. if you need anything get a hold of me.

First time I met Mark was Bike Week 2005 with my Boyfriend Pete. Then Mark drove Pete's Bike down to Yonkers. Will be Missed dearly

To Marks Family, Please accept my deepest sympathies. Mark Was Like a 2nd father/ big brother to me, although i havent seen mark in many years to hear of his loss is very shocking!and very sad! he was a great man, who would do anything for anybody,~R.I.P Mark~
