Martha W. Fitzgerald

SILVER BAY Martha W. Fitzgerald, 71, of Lake Shore Drive, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at the Glens Falls Hospital. Born in Ticonderoga, June 20, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Walton and Helen (Bora) Wallace. Mrs. Fitzgerald was a lifelong resident of Silver Bay. She was a 1955 graduate of Hague Central School and a graduate of Albany Business College. She has been the owner and operator of the Northbrook Cottages of Silver Bay since 1957. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Martin H. Fitzgerald. They were married on Oct. 27, 1956. She is also survived by one daughter, Deborah F. Manning and her husband, Michael, of Silver Bay; one son, Martin H. Fitzgerald II and his wife, Heidi, of Silver Bay; a sister-in-law, Kaley Wallace of Milford, Pa.; and four grandchildren, Kaley Manning, Carney Manning, Nicholas Fitzgerald, and Michael Fitzgerald and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will take place on Friday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. at the family plot of the May Memorial Cemetery of Hague. The Rev. Marjorie J. Floor will officiate. Donations in her memory may be made to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital, 102 Park St., Glens Falls, NY 12801. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.
