Nathan Salazar Obituary

Nathan Salazar

March 20, 1997 - March 27, 2024

QUEENSBURY - It is with great heartache that we share that on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Nate lost his battle with cancer. As too many of us have witnessed what a cruel and evil enemy cancer can be, Nate fought with dignity, courage, hope and even humor.

Left to cherish his memory include his soulmate, one true love and wife, Clara; his parents, David and Patricia; sister, Angelina and her boyfriend, Roryk; his grandfather; aunt; uncles; and cousins; as well as many great friends.

We will miss him beyond words and will cherish every moment that we have shared with him. He was the sweetest little boy and grew into a wonderful, caring man.

Friends and family may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main St., South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A celebration of Nate's life will be held at a future date.

Burial will be private and at the convienience of the family.

We would like to thank the staff at the Melodies Center at Albany Medical Center, as well as Dr. Matthew DiCaprio and his staff at Capital Region Orthopedics.

A very special thank you to all at Community Hospice for the care that was given to Nate in his final journey. A very special thank you to Vicki and Danielle, his nurses and pure angels on earth. Vicki especially touched his and our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Donations can be made to sarcomastrong.com, the Melodies Center at Albany Med, South High Marathon Dance or a local hospice.

Pat and Dave, I just learned of Nate's passing today. I am just heartsick. I didn't know of the degree to which his cancer had progressed. My love and comfort go out to you...such great neighbors, good friends and fine people. I am just stunned and so so terribly, terribly sorry.

To Nate's Family: I got to know Nate while he worked at Stewarts on Bay Road in Queensbury. He was a wonderful young man, always friendly, anxious to help. To everyone that influenced his life (ALL his family), you can be proud of the values instilled in Nate. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a fine young man.
