SOUTH GLENS FALLS, NY - Patricia "Tishy" Marie Barody, 68, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness.
Born on September 5, 1956, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Doris (Sausville) Barody.
Tishy graduated from South High in 1975, and went on to receive her degree in Medical Transcription from SUNY Adirondack. For most of her career she was a Medical Transcriptionist for many offices in the Albany Medical System, retiring from working in Dr. Mihindu office.
She loved driving with her girlfriends to Well, VT, playing bingo in various locations including the VFW in Queensbury, going to Turning Stone, scratch offs and was an avid country music fan.
For many years, Tishy was a volunteer for the Kingsbury Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to her parents, Tishy was predeceased by her brothers, Michael and Alan Barody; her nephew, Brandon Barody.
Left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Bob Barody (Laura) and Joe Barody; her nieces and nephews, Ashley (Michael) Buxton, Chelsea Barody, Alannah Barody, Kacey Dunbar (Patrick) and Joel Sisco; her great niece and nephews, Lucas, Quinn and Beau Buxton; sister-in-law, Ann Barody.
At Tishy's request there will be no calling hours.
Rite of Committal will be at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. Mary's Cemetery in South Glens Falls with Sister Donna Irvine S.S.N.D., officiating.
Memorial donation in Tishy's memory can be made to C.R. Wood Cancer c/o Glens Falls Hospital Foundation, 126 South Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801.

Tishy was always a special person to me. I was her godmother . Her mother and I were first cousins but were more like sisters. She will always be in my prayers.
