GRANVILLE, NY - Patricia F. Watrous, 95, of Granville, N.Y. died Friday Morning December 26, 2025 at her residence following a brief illness
She was born on April 23, 1930 in Fair Haven, Vt. the daughter of James and Mary (Brown) Fitzpatrick.
Patricia grew up in Fair Haven graduating from the Fair Haven High School in 1948, then the Rutland Business College. Later she worked for 15 years at the Cleanorama in Fair Haven.
Patricia was a longtime member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Granville where she took care of the flowers.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Watrous and his wife, Colleen (Wooddell) Watrous of Glens Falls, N.Y.; a daughter, Maria Rose Watrous Griswold and her husband, Timothy of Ballston Spa, N.Y.; a sister, Joan C. Durant and her husband, Charles of Fair Haven; a brother, Edward Fitzpatrick of Phenix City, AL; four grandchildren, Joseph Watrous, Shania Watrous, Gabrielle Griswold and Isabelle Griswold; and a great grandson, Noah David Watrous; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Oatman Watrous in 1989.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Granville, N.Y. to be followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at a later date in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Fair Haven, Vt.
Arrangements are with the Durfee Funeral Home, 119 N. Main St, Fair Haven.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Granville Rescue Squad, 52 East Potter Ave, Granville, N.Y.
