Patrick Alan Belair

June 26, 1959 - February 27, 2026

SOUTH GLENS FALLS - Patrick Alan Belair, 66, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born June 26, 1959, in Key West, Florida, he was the son of the late Joan (Cimo) Belair.

He graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 1977. Pat continued his education at F. Donald Myers Vo-Tec Center obtaining a certificate in electronics in 1990.

After high school, Pat proudly joined the United States Marine Corps from 1977-1981.

On July 31, 1982, Pat married the love of his life, Jayne Phinney, at St. Michael's Church in South Glens Falls.

He was employed for 37 years for Ball Metal Corporation in Saratoga Springs.

Pat enjoyed being with his family, outdoor activities, especially hiking, camping and kayaking. He enjoyed basketball, football, cornhole and darts. Later in life, he enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren's sporting events.

He was a member of Elks Lodge #81 for 14 years, NRA, ADK Mountain Club and Hudson Falls Fish & Game Club. He served as a security guard for South High Marathon Dance for at least 15 years, as well as youth baseball and basketball coach.

In addition to his mother, Pat was predeceased by his brother, Andrew Belair.

Left to cherish his memory includes his loving wife of 43 years, Jayne Belair; daughter, Heather Mabb (Jeffrey) of South Glens Falls; son, Ryan Belair (Colleen) of Wilton; grandchildren, Logan Mabb, Carter Mabb, Mackenzie Belair and Cameron Belair; in-laws, Robert and Joan Phinney of Jacksonville, Florida and June and Russell Naples of Jacksonville, Florida; brothers, Barry Belair, Joseph Belair (Mary) and Bruce Belair; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life that will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Glens Falls Elks Lodge #81, 32 Cronin Road, Queensbury, NY 12804.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the C.R. Wood Cancer Center and Dr. Dan DeAngelo at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, whose unwavering support and understanding meant so much during this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pat's memory can be made to C.R. Wood Cancer Center c/o Randy's Patient Assistance Fund 100 Park St. Glens Falls, NY 12801.
