NORTH HUDSON - Sarah E. Potter passed away surrounded by family and her animals, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born August 2, 1966, in Ticonderoga, NY, to the late Chandler and Helen Thompson.
Sarah met and married the late Raymond C. "Bernie" Potter of Schroon Lake and raised her family in North Hudson.
Sarah will be greatly remembered for her devotion and her love for strays, whether animal or human.
Predeceased by her parents, her brother, Michael Thompson and her loving husband, Raymond C. Potter.
She leaves behind her children: Brandon (Kayla) Potter of North Hudson, Jessica (Adam) Benson of Argyle, April (Ryan) Bessey of North Hudson; also survived by her grandchildren: Benjamin, Alice, Alyssa, Logan; and her great-nephew, Jackson. She is also survived by many brothers, sister, nieces and nephews.
Please join us for a gathering on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home in Schroon Lake from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Schroon Lake Emergency Squad.
