Scott Robert Kennedy
1968 - 2024
Scott Robert Kennedy went home to be with the Lord and reunited with his mother, Sunday, April 7, 2024.
Scott was born December 14, 1968 to Barbara J. Kennedy and Robert B. Kennedy.
From the time of his birth Scott was faced with many challenges, visually, physically and mentally, all of which he met and conquered with an indomitable good humor, a smile on his face, laughter in his voice and a genuine love for whomever came into his life.
He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara.
Left with cherished memories of his extraordinary life are his father, Robert, of Queensbury, NY; his brother, David, of Woodway, TX; grandmother, Helen Kennedy, of Liverpool, NY; and many loving relatives in Harrisonburg, VA, Liverpool, and Montgomery, NY, Green Bay, WI, and Brooksville, FL.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Saratoga Bridges where Scott lived and received care and treatment - with particular mention of Nurse Michelle Sabo who loved Scott "like family" and went beyond the call of duty to spend many hours with him in the last weeks of his life. In the words of Scott's father, "She was a saint!" They also express their gratitude to the staff of Glens Falls Hospital Emergency Department, the ICU nurses, and the Comfort Care Unit, for their professional and compassionate care.
A Memorial Service, open to all friends and family will be held 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Church of The King, 685 Bay Road (opp. SUNY ADK).
Arrangements under the care of Regan Denny Stafford Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury.

Well Scott-- You gave us some fun times over the many years we knew you. You'd always come clicking past our house to walk to Sokols on your own or get a snack at Amore. You overcame so many obstacles and made friends doing it. We'll never forget you Scott, or the love and dedication that your mom and dad gave to you. You were very lucky to have them. Bob, we're here if you need anything.
