December 21, 1975 - July 19, 2025
Scott A. Trombly, 49, passed away on July 19, 2025 at Albany Medical Center, following complications from a bicycle accident.
Born on December 21, 1975 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Ralph "Skip" and the late Ruth (Woodcock) Trombly.
Scott was a graduate of South High class of 1994 in So. Glens Falls, N.Y. He was a member of the Bowling and Golf teams, and active in South High Marathon (SHMD). After high school he was a member of several bowling leagues at Pine Lanes in SGF and Golf leagues in the area. He enjoyed music from The Dead to Phish, and was a master of trivia nights in the area.
In addition to his mother, Ruth, Scott was predeceased by his grandparents, Clevis (Bill) and Mary Trombly, and Russell and Charlotte Woodcock; sister-in-law, Dani (Lyons) Trombly.
Scott is survived by his father, Skip Trombly (Marie Morse); his brother, Michael Trombly (Shelly); nieces and nephews, Connor (Lindsey), Max (Kayden) and Mikayla (Landon). Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Scott's smile would light a room when he walked in. His greatest goal in life was to make people laugh (and he did).
At the family's request, burial will be private. A celebration of Scott's life will be held on August 9, 2025, 107 Spier Falls Rd., Gansevoort, NY 12831 from 12 to 4 p.m. Guests are encouraged to BYOB if they choose.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Scott's memory to the South Glens Falls Marathon dance (SHMD) www.shmd.org.
