Shannon L. Knorr, 36, passed away May 8, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital after a long illness with her loving family by her side. She was born May 27, 1987, to Stephen and Darlene O'Dell of Glens Falls, formerly of Granville.
Shannon was an RN specializing in the care of infants in the NICU. She worked at various hospitals including working as a travel nurse.
She is survived by her parents, Stephen and Darlene O'Dell; her daughters: Kiara and Sophia Knorr of Glens Falls; her brother, Ryan, his wife, Nilda and daughter, Gabi of Hamden CT; grandmother, Shirley Evans of Granville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Shannon was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Rog and Gen O'Dell; maternal grandfather, Jake Evans; and a special uncle Roger Evans, who called her "SnitzelFritz".
There will be no calling hours or funeral service at the request of the family.

I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter, Shannon. I had met her while we were taking a fitness class together..She was also a phenomenal Baker...her treats were absolutely delicious!! I pray for Gods Strength and comfort for you, as her parents, her daughters, and entire family during this very sad and difficult time.

I worked with Shannon for a short time here in NY. I know she struggled so much with her disease, and I kept in touch with her over the last few years encouraging her and sending words of support. I´m so sorry for your loss!
