It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Treena Jean Carter, born October 21, 1969. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who departed from this world on September 22, 2025.

Treena was born in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and was a pillar of strength, kindness, and an embodiment of unconditional love. Treena left an indelible mark on our hearts through her gentleness and affection.

Treena was an accomplished professional, dedicating 24 years of her life to Quad Graphics before moving onto Walmart in Queensbury as an Associate. Yet, her achievements were not confined to her career alone. Treena found her joy in the simple pleasures of life: a fond memory, a hearty laugh, a shared moment. She held her family close to her heart, cherishing every moment spent with them. The pride she took in her son Jakob was unmatched, and her bi-weekly consignment shop visits with her mother were the highlights of her calendar. In her quiet and sweet demeanor, Treena painted vibrant memories that will be cherished forever.

Treena leaves behind her loving husband, Stephen Carter; her mother, Jean (Hayes) Wells; her son, Jakob and his wife, Briannah Carter; along with her brothers, Mark, Jeffrey, Bruce, and Dana and their respective partners Laurie, Tania, Gail and Dina.

She is preceded in death by her father, L. Clyde Wells and sister-in-law, Debbie Wells.

Visitation for Treena will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave, Schuylerville, NY, 12871. Her interment will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Old Saratoga Reformed Church, located at 48 Pearl Street, Schuylerville NY 12871.
