Warren Dunham Obituary
July 1, 1936 - February 15, 2025
QUEENSBURY - Warren E. Dunham, 88, passed away peacefully at The Pines at Glens Falls Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, on February 15, 2025. A memorial service will be held at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls on May 31, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Warren was born on July 1, 1936, in Johnsonville, N.Y. He attended Lansingburgh High School and Albany State Teachers College. While there, he met Barbara Ryan, and they married in 1959.
Warren initially taught business and coached men's soccer at Seaford High School on Long Island. As the family grew, they moved to Hudson Falls in 1965 where he joined the business department at Hudson Falls High School and served as Chair. He coached the boys' soccer team to many league championships and later coached both the boys' and girls' tennis teams.
Warren enjoyed playing tennis and traveling. After his retirement, he and Barbara moved to Queensbury.
He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara; and his siblings, Eleanor, Howard, Harold, Ruth and Walter.
He leaves behind his second wife, Maureen Shaughnessy; and four children, Amy (Myles) McHale, Bruce (Deborah) Dunham, Christopher (Melissa Travis) Dunham, and David (Nancy) Dunham; and six grandchildren, Myles McHale, Meghan McHale, Bradley Dunham, Brendan Dunham, Connor Dunham, and Avery Dunham.
Donations in Warren's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Northeastern New York Chapter, 1003 New Loudon Rd., Suite 201, Cohoes, NY 12047.

Years ago, I belonged to GF Tennis & Swim Club on East Sanford St. Warren played tennis there also. He taught at Hudson Falls High School and was good friends with my brother, Jerry Dean, who taught there. I agree with another friend who said he was a true gentleman. Judith Dean Edmunds
