Sorry to hear of your loss. I always get a big smile when I think of Winnie as I could always get her to do most anything when she was in her stubborn moods.Really had a lot of fun taking care of her.

Aunt Winnie, What can I say. You were the light of everyone's life. I remember the many nights of going to your house and raiding the "candy corner". I enjoyed our nightly tv program of Walker, Texas Ranger while eating candy or buttered cheerios. I will always Love and respect you for all you have done for me and my family! I will miss you aunt Win!

Winnie was my elementary bus driver, she always was a cheerful person and the kids on the bus loved her. She always loved having me on the bus and would allow me to open the bus door when I would get off. She was a special lady and a perfect bus driver for children to have. She will always have a place in my heart and I will cherish my memories of her

Aunt Winnie I will never forget you! You made all of our summers incredible. Thanks for the camping,and the uncountable hours in your swimming pool! To all my cousins and every kid in town who knew Aunt Winnie, we were lucky to have her,and thanks for all the kickball and hid n go seek games! I love you all!!

To all of "Aunt Winnie's" family...my sincere sympathy. I didn't know until I was an older teenager that Winnie wasn't really my "Aunt." She was a close friend of my parents, Barb & Larry Flewelling, for many years. She truly was a special person with a big heart and so much love to share with many people. I feel lucky to have known her. If we all had a tiny bit of her kindness for others, the world would be a much better place. I know God has a special place for her amongst the angels...she surely has earned it. I hope the happy memories of Aunt Winnie will bring a smile to the hearts of those who sadly miss her. Her life was one well lived.

There are great memories I have of Winnie from the many years I rode her bus to school. The most infamous are the Halloweens when she would wear her gorilla costume. The first time I saw her in it I refused to get on the bus I was so scared, and I was crying hysterically. Se had to park the bus, get off and take her gorilla head off to show me it was really her underneath. Once I saw her face I remember being so relieved I hugged her. I must have been 6 or 7 at the time and I still remember that instance so clearly.
I was so lucky to have her happy face greeting me as I left for school each day. I was very saddened to hear of her death. She certainly brightened many of my days. I am sorry for your loss.

Sorry I couldn't make it today. I will always have those memories of her as my "Aunt", my bus driver, a kind person. I remember swimming at her pool, hanging out with other relatives and friends at her house, and her giving me snacks when I was little. When I was younger I didn't realize all that she did for other people, especially the "Fresh Air Kids". God bless you Aunt Winnie, and all her friends and relatives.
