I left Pottstown in 1970 for college and never came back, so I've been out of touch with Barry for quite a long time. A month ago, I visited the cemetery where my parents and other relatives are resting, and I saw Barry's grave marker and I was stunned. I did not know. I lingered a bit and thought about Barry growing up, and his beer sign collection of course. Barry went to Wyndcroft and I went to public schools, but we were mates in Hebrew school and he came to junior and senior high for grades 9-12. We were in all the same classes, we were friends. He was a gentle soul, driven to excel in school, and never had an unkind word for anyone.

Just found out today. I worked with Barry in 2006-07. He was a good man with a big heart. Condolences to the entire family. Rest now Barry.
