I was saddened to hear of Brian's passing. I worked for years with him in the C.C. Dept. of Emergency Services radio room, back before there were computers to do all the work. Brian and the other members of the fireboard worked tirelessly and with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by anyone who ever came into contact with him. Rest In Peace, Brian.

Brian was a friend for many years from our days together in the Fire Marshals Office.
We had a great time working together Brian knew his job and did it well. He earned the respect of the area Chiefs and brought a little of his humor to the fire scene. I was fortunate enough to have seen him the day before he died at my retirement party. I will miss this old friend and I wish him God Speed as he responds to his Final Call.

A dedicated professional and co-worker. I was a better emergency services provider because of him. Brian, you've left a large pair of shoes to fill. I thank you and I'll miss you.

On behalf of ICC Region VII I would like to offer condolences to the family and friends of Brian Gallagher. As a past chairman and current member of the executive council Brian leaves a hole that will be hard to fill. I feel privileged to have known and worked with Brian. God bless those he leaves behind, and may Saint Peter meet you at the gate as you dedicated your life to protecting others.

Brian, you have been an inspiration to all of us in the fire service. You have mentored so many of our young fire fighters and had such drive pushing us all to raise the bar to achieve more. And yes, you often got your Irish up, but that was just you. You never asked us to do anything more than you would ask of yourself. And with your drive, you packed 100 years of life into just 59 years. With my deepest respect to a fallen friend and fire fighter.

Ashley, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I will always remember how he called you and Maddie his "ladybugs", and how he would get a rose for her every week at the florist. My heart breaks for you and your family. Hugs, Sharon Tate
