A graduate of Schwenksville High School, I began teaching in 1968 and learned to call her Kit instead of Mrs. Piotrowski. She was a wonderful person and was a wonderful role model for me as a beginning teacher. She always cared about her students. After I moved from the Perkiomen Valley and occasionally returned, it was a delight to run into her when she was representing the library at one of the local shopping centers or grocery stores with the annual library raffle. She was a wonderful member of our staff gatherings in the teachers' lounge where we were a community, not just individuals. She had a delightful sense of humor. She was a warm and caring friend.

Ms Piotrowski was my first grade teacher many many years ago. She was a sweet woman with a very kind heart. My condolences to the family.
