Daniel J. Soos, 67, Aberdeen, MD, died Saturday, December 10, 2016, in UM Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre De Grace, MD. He was a former resident of Royersford and Boyertown. Mr. Soos was born on April 6, 1949, in Phoenixville. He was a son of Barbara (Reber) Soos, Exeter, and the late Victor Soos. Before he retired, Mr. Soos was a welder for Allied Tank Co., Collegeville. He also operated his own business, Dan’s Welding. Mr. Soos is survived by his daughters, Lynn Leister, Oley, and Christy, wife of Timothy Kramer, Barto; his sisters, Terry Keough, Pottstown, Judy Thomas, Phoenixville, Vicky, wife of Charles Hensley, Exeter, and Brenda, wife of Kevin Heyward, Kintersville; three grandchildren, his loving companion, Elizabeth Louise Gebhard, Aberdeen, and Dorsey, his dog. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara L. (Smith) Soos, and his brother, Richard Soos. The funeral service will be at Noon, Monday, at the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main St., Trappe, with the Rev. Donna M. House, Pastor, Frieden’s Lutheran Church, Oley, officiating. Burial will be in Limerick Garden Of Memories, Limerick Twp. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to Noon, Monday, at the funeral home.
