Both Sharon and myself are saddened to hear of David's passing. Even though it has been many years since I have seen the Detar family, I still remember the family of both the Detar's, Burdan,s and the Kulp's from my days living in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Kentucky. God Bless to all!

To the Detar Family,
My heart is filled with sadness as I reflect on the loss of Uncle David. I shall forever cherish the memories of his famous smile and that infectious laugh that wrinkled his face and squinted his eyes. Some of the brightest points of my childhood in Pottstown were with the Detar famiy. Dave and Kitty and their children at Aunt Emma's farm, swimming, picnics by the pool, and playing by the pond. It is these thoughts that will comfort me now as I mourn his loss. May the Peace
that only comes from the Lord be with all who grieve, and rest in the knowledge that David now sits at his Fathers right hand, where one day we will meet again in eternity.

Condolences to Daves family. I remember the good ole days at Red Arrow. Had a lot of good conversations and laughs with Dave and the boys hashing over the events of the day. God bless you Dave, you'll be in our prayers. Richard Deets, Jr. Pottstown PD retired
