Doris White Obituary

DORIS M. WHITE, 88, OF SKIPPACK Doris M. (Baumgard) White, 88, wife of Calvin B. White, Skippack Twp., died peacefully, Thursday, April 7, 2016. Mrs. White was born on June 23, 1927, in Philadelphia. She was a daughter of the late Clarence T. and Dorothy (Killmer) Baumgard. A devoted homemaker and loving wife, Mrs. White was also vice-president of her husband’s company, White Builders. She was a long time member and past-president of the Skippack Antiquers Club. She loved her pets, gardening, and, most of all, her family. In addition to her husband of 68 years, Mrs. White is survived by her sons, Glenn, husband of Leslie (Ostroff) White, Skippack Twp., Gary, husband of Peggy (Breslawski) White, Skippack Twp., and Greg, husband of Beth (Allison) White, Mars, PA; her sister, Carolyn, wife of Frederick Klee, Upper Salford Twp.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Baumgard. Private funeral arrangements are by the Holcombe Funeral Home Inc., Trappe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
