Not sure what to say?

December 28, 2010

Gail,
I was looking forward to seeing you and Doug at the 50th class reunion but now realize that it was more important for Doug to spend some of his last days with family. We had not heard of Doug's illness and was shocked to receive a message of his passing.
We pray for peace and comfort for you and your family, especially during this holiday season.

It was very sad to hear of Doug's passing. I knew he was battling cancer but I didn't know how serious it was. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. In Christ's love, Tom

Gail,
We were so shocked to hear of Doug's passing. Both of you always asked about Reggie's illness at the luncheons, and never spoke of your own troubles. We are so sorry.

Doug was a friend for over 25 years and whether we were working, hunting or fishing it was a pleasure to be in his company. When the first day of trout season opens next year, I will be thinking of Doug Boettger. He will be missed. God bless Gail and his family.

We were fortunate to know Doug and will miss him dearly. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Gail and the rest of this great family. From day one we've felt welcomed and at home next door. It won't be the same without seeing Doug's smiling face and sharing stories of the outdoors. He was more than a neighbor- he was a friend.
