Douglas Meyer Obituary

Douglas W. Meyer, 58, husband of Patricia (Krumenacker) Meyer, died Thursday, February 10th, at his Upper Providence Twp. home. Doug was born on January 9, 1964, in Bellefonte, to Kaye (Witmer) Meyer, Parkesburg, and the late R. William Meyer, Jr. He graduated from Octorara H.S., and Shippensburg Univ., then earned an MBA from St. Joseph University. Before retiring in 2021, Doug was a systems manager for Pfizer Corp. He previously worked for Wyeth Corp., the Resolution Trust Corp., and his father’s agency, Century 21 Bill Meyer & Assocs. He was a member of Royersford United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife and mother, Doug is survived by his children, William Meyer, Windermere, FL, and Allison Meyer, Tampa, FL; and his siblings, Suzanne, wife of Kevin “Spike” Carr, Parkesburg, Charles, husband of Sara “Sally” Meyer, Parkesburg, Donna, wife of Ronald “Beau” Martz, Metairie, LA, and Andrew Meyer, San Jose, CA. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, at Royersford United Methodist Church, 380 Church St., Royersford, PA 19468, with the Rev. Lee Adams, retired pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Limerick Garden Of Memories, Limerick Twp. Friends may call from 9:00 to 9:45 AM, Saturday, at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Royersford United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
