I have so many wonderful memories of being with the Swartleys while growing up in Birchrunville. We shared many carpools to church and back with Gregg, Lynn, and my siblings. Mr. Swartley was always busy doing something around the house with a big smile on his face. He will be truly missed. My condolences to the entire family.

All of the Swartley family are in my thoughts and prayers. Howard was a great man who always made me feel welcome in his home. It would be difficult for me to remember a time where I did not see a smile on his face.
