James W. Casper

James W. Casper of Doylestown, PA passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 in Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, PA. He was 74. Born in Douglas, GA to the late John and Dorothy (Dove) Casper, Jim resided in Philadelphia and later moved to Willow Grove and graduated from Upper Moreland High School in 1964. James spent 38 years of distinguished service in the educational field. He was a US Marine Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was the beloved husband of 39 years to Barbara (Lynch) Casper; devoted father of Deric Lynch and wife Kinsey, Shaun Casper and wife Heather Hunt-Casper, Jason Casper and wife Hollie; dear brother of John Paul Cooper and companion Diane Reitz, and the late Charles Casper; loving grandfather of Kya, Christian and Jayden Lynch, Sammy Hunt-Casper and Sylas Casper. A viewing will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 10:30-11:30 am, with a service to begin at 11:30 am.
